EREP 2025, Spanish & Portuguese Relativity Meeting
Sociedade Portuguesa de Relatividade e Gravitação

Lluís Bel Prize

The Lluís Bel prize is awarded by the Spanish Society on General Relativity and Gravitation (SEGRE) to the best talk delivered during the Spanish and Portuguese Relativity Meeting (EREP) by junior SEGRE members who have not yet completed their doctoral degrees, have finished them after the preceding edition of the EREP, or have requested SEGRE membership prior to the EREP.

When awarding the prize both the scientific quality of the results and the clarity and overall interest of the talks will be taken into account.

The prize consists of 300 euros ---financed by a donation from Alan Barnes and SEGRE funds--- and a diploma.

The winner will be decided by a committee appointed every year for this specific task by the SEGRE Executive Board. When choosing the members of this committee special care will be exercised to keep a reasonable geographical and gender balance, and also with regard to the different scientific specialties within the Society. The prize can be declared void if the committee so decides.

The award ceremony will take place before the end of the Conference.
